An original vintage theatrical Italian poster for SALO released in the U. As "Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom". SALO is a intensely disturbing 1975 Pier Paolo Pasolini (based on the Marquis de Sade novel) film starring Paolo Bonacelli, Giorgio Cataldi, Umberto Paolo Quintavalle, Aldo Valletti, and Caterina Boratto.

It was highly controversial and the final film Pasolini made before his murder. This original poster is an Italian 4 Foglio and measures 55"x78", and like all Italian posters of this size, it was printed in two separate sections that measure 39"x55" each. Condition is good: folded as issued with toning, some wear (including toning and tears) along some fold lines and border. Please note that the magnets in the borders are used during the photographic process and are not pushpins or elements of the design.
