STAR WAR Vintage 1978 Style D / NSS / One sheet poster. The poster has very light fold and border wear and a few light creases, and overall it is in really nice condition for its time. There are some tape residue that is slightly visible on the front of the poster. Artwork By: Drew Struzan / Charles White III. Size (inch): 27" x 41". Size (cm): 68.58cm x 104.14cm. The official first run of the film in the USA ended on July 20, 1978, but Star Wars was re-released the next day due to its overwhelming popularity. This re-release run was extended until November 7, 1978. To refresh the Star Wars campaign in'78, a new design poster was printed and it contains the circus-like artwork by Drew Struzan and Charles White III. This poster is a favorite amongst collectors because of its swashbuckling pose of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia getting ready to swing across the chasm to freedom, and the rest of the cast including Obi-wan Kenobi and Darth Vader situated around the poster on this'wild posting' placard. It is the original vintage poster, which is fragile. Even though it has been lying flat for a long time, it may affect its condition each time it's rolled.
